Route: Approach York from the South West on A64 take the A1036 towards York for 1/2 mile, turn  right on unclassified road to Bishopthorpe. In the village turn right at the cross roads, over the bridge in approximately 200mtrs turn right into Moor Lane Follow NYC signs. Special Events: Bishopthorpe village is a 10 minute walk away. There are local shops, a fish and chip shop,  two pubs serving food. Bus stop to takes you to the city centre. Askham Bar park and ride is 2 miles away and there is a Tesco Superstore on Tadcaster Road A1036.  Recycling Bins are provided on site for bottles, cans, plastic bottles and newspapers. General waste to be taken home.
